...how to get to Sesame Place!?

I just booked our flight to Philidelphia! I am so excited! Raeleigh is going to LOVE it! Anyone have any other suggestions for places to see? We will be there for 6 days! We have 2-day passes for Sesame Place and we plan on going to Hershey one day. I can't wait!

Bubble Bath!

Last night we let Raeleigh take a bubble bath. I am so prone to UTIs that I won't let her take them much because I am afraid she will be too. She had so much fun! I think Brandon and I had as much fun watching her as she did playing! Too bad I didn't video it...but here are a few pictures!

NO NO NO NO NO!!!

If you don't know my personally, then you likely don't understand how much of a "germophobe" I am. I am the queen of germ-x. I carry a bottle in my purse, car, and every diaper bag. I also carry sanitizing spray and a mini can of lysol with me. No, I am not crazy...just prepared. Every year from November to March I live in fear of the flu.

That being said...Would you like to guess what my husband and daughter have?? What's that? You think they have the flu? But NO! How could MY FAMILY possibly get the FLU?! They have no fevers, no bodyaches...just your typical runny nose! Alas, the flu test proves that they do indeed have the flu. So begins the rounds of Tamiflu for all of us...and at only $86 for EACH of us...who wouldn't be excited about that!! Good Grief!

Raeleigh's New Look

About two weeks ago we noticed that Raeleigh was holding her books very close to her face, stumbling when she walked, and her right eye was beginning to turn in towards her nose. We decided it was time to see the eye doctor! Raeleigh did great for the eye exam! They checked her eyes and concluded that she did indeed need glasses. Oh boy..how in the world were we going to keep them on her face?

Well, yesterday her glasses came in and we prepared ourselves for a constant fight until she learned she HAD to wear them. She fought us while we put them on at the opthamologist. After we got them on she did not touch them! YAY! She even got upset when we took them off for bathtime! If you looked through them you would see why...she can't see anything! So..here are some pictures of my princess in her pretty pink glasses :)

Funny Friday

Snow!

The snow storm that swept through the South and is now headed up the East coast was incredible! However, I think McNairy County sits in a hole and we miss out on most of the fun! Surrounding counties got 6"-12" and we only got 3! Ugh! The sun came out yesterday and it was all gone by noon! Oh well, at least it stayed long enough for some pictures.








This one I find absolutely hilarious! Rudy is screaming, Raeleigh is trying to comfort him, and Brandon is clearly thinking, "Just take the stupid picture!"
